Just got back from the Boat show and Gun Show in Shreveport, it was a small show but just like all the gun shows here the prices were beyond stupid, you can buy brand new stuff at academy for cheaper then the junk they have on their counters, if you are looking for something classic you can usually find the exact equivalent or better online for 20-40% cheaper. A guy had some beat up Belgian A5's for 1295.00 ea. LMAO, there was a guy who wanted 1500 for a Garand that looked like it was drug behind a pickup truck, I have a pristine Winchester WW2 serial # Garand I would be lucky to get 1500 for.

And sugared pecans, maybe some beef jerky. I like making my own beef jerky though.

They were asking around $18 for 17hmr ammo at the one in Gonzales. Every sporting goods store in br has 17hmr ammo for about $12. I paid $16 for me and my gf to get in just to get 17wsm ammo and no one there had it.

I hate Academy, but they usually have the best deals out there. They are like the Walmart of gun dealers.

Could have got a sweet morale patch, 1 for $5 or 2 for $10.
Clearly the better deal is 2 for $10

I posted something like this about a week ago about the Shreveport gun show.

Glad I didn't waste my time or gas.

They will be in Monroe in a couple of weeks. I guess I will look at all the toys and pay $7 admission to look around.

Maybe I can score a deal on some ammo but I doubt it.
