LSU Coaching Staff 2003 (Where are they now edition)

This was part of a larger story on coaching turnover in the conference since 2001.

Saban grooms great position coaches.

And Fisher doesn't count.... he was a excellent OC at Auburn before he even came here.

Jimbo wasn't OC at Auburn, only QB coach. I think he was an OC at Cincinnati for a yr before coming to LSU tho.

Wow...that's crazy. And through Saban they all link back to the mid-90's Browns staff with Belichick as head coach. That was a pretty impressive staff too.

I find it crazy that you have a LB coach who is now a RB coach.

Not me. Bc if a line does its job, a RB's biggest obstacle is a LB. To be great at something you have to also know your opposition.

just out of curiosity, i looked up the grad assistants that yr.



Harlon Barnett - DB coach Mich. St.
Lawrence Dawsey - Passing game Coordinator Fl. St.
James Coley - OC Miami Hurricanes
Scott Cochran - Stength/Conditioning Bama


eta - Bo Davis was LSU's asst. strength/cond. coach that yr. - now DL coach at Bama.
