Accu and twc said it was going to be 10-14 mph wind at 7:00 am in swla. It's as calm as it can be in this rice field. They're still calling for 14 in 5 minutes. Oh, and accu says there's a shower here. I'm looking at blue skies. It seems like they're getting worse

Whereabouts you hunting? Any bird activity?

I feel like Weather Underground gives better projections. Could be completely wrong though.

They were pretty good to me all season.
When it got above 12 I'd put my rag spread and it was always right

It depends how recently they have run the forecast models.
Try to look around on the site and see the time stamp. I have found WU to be the best at having the most recent forecasting model runs.
A 2-3 day old model is not worth the paper it's printed on, if its within the last 12 hrs it is usually pretty good.
Also, in the model run, the parish you are in or larger may be a single model grid box so accuracy on a lower level gets lost.
