Ridiculously excited about bringing this guy to Tampa

Jon Embree as new Bucs TE coach (this guy could easily be an OC with his credentials)

The 1st NFL team he coached for was the KC Chiefs who had just drafted Tony Gonzalez when he took the job

Then he was Colorado's HC from 2011 - 12 (when Tedford, Bucs new OC, coached against him at Cal)

Then the last 2 years he has been TE coach for the Browns while there developing Jordan Cameron as one of the premier pass catching TEs

Only position coach left to fill is OL coach seems like its down to 2 candidates - Former Titans' HC Mike Munchak (oh pls oh pls) or former longtime Tedford assistant currently at Arizona, Jim Michalczik who coached OL for the likes of RBs Mrshawn Lynch, Justin Forsett, Jahvid Best, and the last 2 yrs NCAA record breaker Ka'Deem Cary all in college.

Wasn't he one of the worst college head coaches ever? Basically ran that program into the ground and then kept running.

Shouldn't have left NFL

Some guys are better NFL guys than College

His TE development and coaching is highly respected as one of the best at that position in the NFL

It was, but he just added fuel to the fire. Losing to Sac State and routinely losing by 50 points.

Yeah, I know nothing of his NFL coaching, I just remember him at Colorado.

It was a terrible hire by CU in the first place. You don't bring a guy who has never been more than a position coach in to rebuild a gigantic mess. They needed someone that had familiarity with being a head coach so that he wasn't learning on the job.

I honestly don't understand how CU has stayed this bad for this long. They won a MNC 20 years ago. They are located in a beautiful city. I would think their facilities are more than adequate.

I have seen many Colorado fans bitching about their AD. I get the sense CU has de-emphasized athletics.

After the Barnett fiasco the admins don't care about football. They could care less if they win or lose.

Isn't this the guy whose entire time in Chicago had an offense that completely sucked dick? And an offensive line that could barely block a sick dog.

You must be a tard if you think Tedford and this guy are good hires. I look forward to the Saints dominating this Bucs team for years

Your title is redundant & you're overrating what Tedford and his band of cronies are worth.

This ain't The NCAA dog
