Really why? I used to have classes with him and a ton of other athletes and he always seemed smarter than the average football player

Long awkward pauses before answering the questions. Never really answered the questions. Very vague answers. Seemed uncomfortable in general. Eventually either hung up or got disconnected. It was bad. Not saying he isnt a smart guy. Just saying he handled that interview poorly either due to nerves or something else.

Reid was a field general in charge of putting our secondary in position and communicating the calls. Minter was a beast and no doubt a significant loss, but Reid's absence was far more noticeable.

Minter's replacement makes it no contest. Minter was our biggest loss.

This. Minter def would have been better than Reid to get back. Reid was awesome but having Minter back would have been bigger for this defense IMO
