I think CJJ made a good decision to let hickey run the clock down

Not to mention Henderson was guarding him and he sucks on D

I would have been fine with that too but hickey is our best ball handler.

I thought it was a good play. I thought Hickey was going to try a floater, though. Like the Mississippi State daggers.

The bigger issue was not calling a TO. You can still run that if you want after thinking about it.

Why call a timeout when that's the play you would call anyways. Then you have to worry about getting the ball in. Which hasn't always been easy for LSU.

No way Hickey makes that shot, he still had icicles from sitting the last 13 minutes of the first half.

He could have drove he just decided to pull up he's made them before. I think they chose hickey because it practically eliminates the chance of a steal. Who knows

I've heard CJJ in interviews explain his line of thinking on it. He likes to catch teams in bad defensive packages. Tink about this, Henderson was in. Wouldn't have been after a to.

Just my two cents.

It was a good job not calling a TO and it was a good shot. People are freaking out and bitching and we could have won that game if we make a WIDE OPEN mid range jumper.

I was fine with the last shot by Hickey. It's this that is fricking infuriating! This group has no situational awareness. A two possession lead with under 2 to go and LSU forced themselves in to taking terrible shots at the end of the shot clock. At times, this looked like an AAU game. Unfortunately I think this is the trade off. LSU will get more good players than they have several years. Unfortunately, we're going to have to endure games where you are left saying "what the frick is going on out there."
