If you were to take a job working on Bluebonnet, where would you suggest living?

-Working normal 8-5 business hours.
-have two kids under 7, so schools are important
-would like to continue to coach sports

Where would you suggest? Would be purchasing a home.

where on Bluebonnet? between Airline and Jefferson? Jefferson and I-10? I-10 and Perkins? Perkins and Highland? Highland and Burbank? Burbank and Nicholson? The answer varies tremendously based on location.

This. Pretty close to the mall (but not the mall).

I've heard some good things about Ascension Parish, esp from the school standpoint. We would be moving from Mandeville, so public schools are a priority.

We have family in Central, but not sure how that commute would be. Anyone make that track wanna contribute?

Well, it's a trek, but I really don't think you want to come basically all the way through BR to get to work everyday when Ascension would be a much easier commute.

Ascension Parish. Awesome public schools, affordable living (especially cuz you are not paying private school tuition which you will have to in BR) and a short commute. I'm on Essen and live in Pville and it takes me 35 minutes.

I grew up off of
Highland rd south of Siegen and really love that area of town. My sister and I went to St George and had wonderful childhoods. I would check out homes in neighborhoods on highland rd from bluebonnet all the way to I-10. Great area for kids with all the parks and highland rd is a wonderful rd to drive. Send your kids to st George or st Jude and live happily ever after.

Traffic sucks but you may be looking at a 20 minute or so commute
