How pathetic our receivers were this season. Teams were able to put #1s and double cover our TE without having to worry about a WR to make them pay. We should be wanting that matchup. Colston is a #2 now, stills should be a good one. It's time to get rid of Moore

WR in the first imo

Most teams are starting to get two starting caliber #1 DBs as well. For seattle, sherman gets a lot of credit, but maxwell is pretty good himself. Not factoring the safeties they have it is a nightmare for any team that can't run. We had a pretty good greer/lewis combo - hopefully we can replicate that as well as shoring up our receivers

Problem is that I'm not sure what we'll get at WR by the time we pick.

It's hard to find a game changer that isn't a project after the top 5 or so are gone.

Graham makes his living down the middle of the field. When you have no one that makes the safety vacate the middle of the field, it makes it hard to get open.

WR is our biggest need. If teams continue to put a safety over the top of Graham, we have to be able to take advantage of the matchups on the outside.

I feel like Kenny Still has alot of potential, just needs the ball more. Lance Moore is slowly drifting. Any reason why Morgan doesn't get any playing time anymore?

Damnit, forgot about that. Was it him with that great catch in the Tampa Bay game last year? Or was it Toon?

So if all these guys were healthy, do we really even need to draft a WR? If so, who would you take?

I'm honestly not sure if you're serious...or what, but I'll entertain you because I can't focus in class.

Moore and Colston are on the decline
Toon can't hang onto a ball
Kenny Stills is the only bright spot this year
Morgan may never come back to his old form, we don't know til next year.
Andy Tanner will be cut/signed 80 more times.

We need receivers.

This has been true almost every season that I've followed the draft until this one. There are never game-changing, immediate-impact WRs outside of the top 10 to top 15 picks area. This year is an exception. There are a LOT of really good receivers in this years draft. It's insane. I am confident there will be at least one or two guys left who can start immediately when our first pick comes up.

And the way Seattle CBs play, we need someone who can be physical but also has some size. And speed. And hands.

thats not asking too much, right?

Well then, who would you take? And I saw this in another thread; is trading up even a smart move?

From what ive seen hes the top or 2nd best WR in this draft, depending on who you ask.

I doubt he makes it out of the top 10. Saints have no shot.

Almost every mock I've looked at has him going #16 to the Ravens. I don't think he's top 10 material. After some other receivers show their talent at the combine he could fall some.
