With Collins staying, what will it look like? Will we simply replace Turner? Or move it around some?

I think Pocic can play every position on the line so I'd like to see him get some pt

Yes we will simply have to replace Turner with someone. The alternative is well not ideal to play without a right guard.

I think Boutte moves in at G to replace Turner and the rest will stay the same. Pocic might be the next best lineman but you have to have him and Porter as centers.

LT: Collins
LG: Alexander
C: Porter
RG: Pocic
RT: Hawkins

IMO I think they think highly of Pocic and want to have him on the field if he can transition to G with the plan of having him at LT in 2015.

No offense(pun intended), but we've been hearing this for 100 years or so.

We have recruited well the past couple of classes. We should be able to find one guy to slide in at rg.

I was thinking we could just leave that spot blank, I wonder if anyone would notice.

I think the only 3 sure starters are Collins, Porter, and Hawkins. The other two starters will come from Alexander, Pocic, and Boutte. Alexander for me is not guaranteed a starting spot. Both Pocic and Boutte have higher ceilings.

One of the things that sucks with this collective bargaining agreement is O Lineman that can do it leaving after 3 years. Most of them have to redshirt, meaning we get 2 years. Like Turner. I do think Alexander will be the starter, but both Pocic and Boutte will probably be knocking on the door. C Robinson, probably would have been getting playing time as a true freshman had he come here.

with a new OL coach coming in, it's hard to call some spots. he may move some guys around. I think LT, C, and RT remain the same, but again, you never know.

I thought the word was that the NFL thinks Collins is more of a guard then tackle.

I keep hearing how great Pocic is and is a prototype tackle.

What about Pocic and Hawkins at tackle, Alexander and Collins at guard, and Porter at Center? I think this is the best scenario if Collins best position is guard and Pocic's best position is at tackle.
