I have had a high fever of 102.7 since last night. I have taken ibuprofen to reduce it, but it rebounds hours later. Needless to say, I am somewhat loopy. My doctor appointment is soon, so I went to take a shower since I sweat like a pig last night. I got undressed, but I forgot to take off my socks. I knew something did not feel right. On the bright side, those things are now CLEAN!!!

Started with a rash that looked like ringworm, so I used an internet remedy and put household bleach on it. Ended up being Shingles. Bleach does not heal Shingles - and does not feel good when applied to Shingles.

Roomate in college was hungover and throwing up, he wakes up in the middle of the night and grabs a bottle of powerade from the refrigerator and guzzles it down. Only problem being we had mixed that bottle of powerade with vodka.

Back when I was young and stupid, I had what felt like the death flu. It was the worst flu experience, in terms of severity , that I ever had.
There is nothing worse than living alone, and feeling like you'd have to get better to die.
So, I picked up my phone and started flipping through my contacts, until I came across the number of a crazy clinger ex. She was certifiably nutso, the kind you bail on and then never answer calls from again. I didn't even have to lead her down the path or tell her I was sick. She was proposing we go do something, and I said I'd have to beg off sick, what with having the flu.
Personal nurse Nutcase to the rescue! For three days she took perfect care of me. Took two weeks to be completely rid of her afterwards, but it was totally worth it.

I did almost the same thing, but it wasn't Shingles, thank goodness, it was hypostatic eczema, so at least I didn't cause severe pain.
Twice I walked around on broken bones for weeks at a time, thinking it was a sprained ankle in one case and an arthritic joint in the second.
