BR Advocate had a story today about how most of the Saints players thin Ryan will get an offer to HC. Do you think it will come this off season? I know it's been discussed here before, but I'm interested in your opinions at this point in the season.

He wasn't born to be a HC.

Maybe so but the Advocate article made it sound like the players think he'll get an offer this year.

He isnt going anywhere. Dude fell in love with this city when he got here and he has never said anything to make me think he doesnt love these players and this team.

I think he's here to stay for a couple years at least

Considering no one has asked to interview him, I would imagine he will not be getting a HC gig.

Ryan did a great job this year, but the NFL teams already have the hot candidates highlighted and most are coordinators who've been good at their jobs for years.

Also, with Ryan's personality, I can't see him being a head coach in this league nor do I think he'd ever want to be.

All the blah blah blah fell in love with the city shite doesn't mean a thing when a team throws a head coaching job at you. That said, I don't see anyone doing it this offseason.

What's this mean? I've never seen him as anything but a giver. What do you think is so damning about his personality?

I'm thinking he stays even if he gets an offer.

Maybe if it was Jerry Jones offering… otherwise I'm sure he'd be fine with any other owner in the league.

It's nothing damning about him. It's just that some people want to be "the man" while others are meant to follow. Ryan strikes me as the guy who works hard, does his job, but at the end of the day likes his free time and knowing not all the pressure of the world is on him.

Of course all this is an assumption based on stories we hear of him and photos of him being himself.

Probably not this season. And, regardless, I doubt he leaves.
