I'm taking a trip to Paris, Belgium, and Amsterdam. My time in Belgium is set, but I have 6 six full days to allocate between Paris an Amsterdam.

Should I do 3 in each city? Or 4 in Paris? I ask because it seems like there is more to do/see in Paris.

Any other recommendations are welcome and appreciated.

Scruffy did 3 in each of those cities. There really is a lot to go in Amsterdam that isn't weed related. Check out Vondelpark. There is a really cool restaurant in the middle of it with some cheap sandwiches.

Personally, he wasn't a huge fan of Belgium.

Amsterdam is my favorite city in Europe. Have spent 2 weeks at a time there a few times. But I love beer and bicycles.......not much of a weed smoker but I imbibe occasionally.....Paris would be great if it weren't full of frenchmen.

FWIW, I did 3 days in Amsterdam with a college friends. Didn't go with my SO. If you're with an SO, more time in Paris seems appropriate. If you are going solo or with college buddies like me, Amsterdam spend more time in Amsterdam.

Don't spend more than a day in Belgium.

One thing Scruffy regrets is not going to Versailles. It was just too long of a trip.

It was alright. We were there during a festival so there was some pretty cool stuff going on.

Portugal was probably one of the cooler places that we went to though.

I'll be going with my wife, so can't get into too much debauchery. But I will tell my boss not to drug test me when I get back.

You'll definitely have fun with that. There is some great beer in Belgium.

When you are in Bruges, you have to stop by the Herberg Vlissinghe. It's the oldest pub in Bruges. Opened in 1515. Really cool place to grab a meal.

Also, grab a Belgian waffle by Mannaken Pis in Brussels.

Honestly depends on what you want. I HATED Paris but it was February and cold. However I have been to Amstersam 7+ times. The key is what you want. Paris prolly has more to see and eat. Honestly I would do 4/2 split.

The Heineken in Amsterdam can only be described as the Nectar of the Gods.

Sounds like an awesome place. I have Dutch heritage. Also, like biking.

Flights are booked.

Quality over quantity.

And American brewers have pretty much taken all the styles that originated in England and made them their bitches. British beer is meh to me.
