Congrats to them today and they deserve respect but their window is closing. They just paid Harvin and Chancellor. They have to pay Earl Thomas, Russell Wilson, and Richard Sherman. I'm not sure if you want to include Bobby Wagner but they won't be able to stockpile talent when these contracts come up. Sherman will demand Revised money and Earl Thomas will ask for top Safety Money, I'm not sure who is the highest paid at the moment. Russell Wilson will demand at least Cutler type money and they still have to sign another reliever going ahead. It's easy to assemble all that talent when you're paying bargain money for these type players.

What is your point? Any team in their situation would have to go through the same thing...

And any team would WANT to be in Seattle's situation.

LOL they have a second year QB who is already a stud, Marshawn Lynch is top 3 RBs in the NFL and he's only 27, and both of their lines are stacked. They're going to be good for awhile, get used to it

The team was built through the draft. That's not going to change. It's still one of the youngest teams in the NFL. The window is alive and well.

They will not be able to win the SB with refs calling all of their bullshite on a neutral field. I think they could beat the Chargers in the SB, not any of the other 3 afc teams

Their window is wide open. You want to see a window that's closing? Look in New Orleans.

What he's saying is they won't be able to afford all that talent for long, and he's right. They are really really good but in 2 years that team will most likely be blown up.

Unless you see a bunch of the players take lesser money to stay together, which I highly doubt!

I think the Saints' window closed after 2011 season. They'll be a solid football team for a few more years but I doubt they get another Super Bowl in the near future.

Not a melt at all! They are a damn good football team! They deserve a lot of credit! But that team won't be together for a long time, that's a gurantee.

Now for New Orleans window closing I'm not sure about. We have to pay Cam Jordan and Jimmy Graham. Terron Armstead seems to be the answer at LT. KV is a stud as well as Keenan Lewis. We always seem to be able to find great sleepers in the draft. LB's are locked up for awhile. We probably cut ties with Will Smith and possibly Vilma. Strief is serviceable but an upgrade would be nice. De La Puenta needs to go. DL is young and great! WR's is starting to get alarming. We get Joe Morgan back and it's great that we were able to get Meachem back. He fits our system perfectly. We always seem to find RB's out of nowhere and I don't expect that to change. I don't think we are going anywhere. Remember 2011 we were a game winning drive away from hosting the Giants in the Superdome. Just a few weeks earlier we blew them out in the dome. 2012 was 2012. We were 2 plays in 2 separate games away from the number 2 seed with all of our injuries this year. Like I said our window is not closing!

How? Yes they are young but they will not be able to pay all of them! 2 more years at the most of them being that good on defense.

They would have won the Super Bowl in 2011. That team might have been better than 2009.

Wasting a year of Brees in 2012 was crushing.

Totally agree. Man that last drive was heart breaking in San Fran! We beat the Giants and Patriots already that season! Damn I hate that we missed out that year!
