It is good that Johnny Jones will be able to get players to come to Baton Rouge, but we play STUPID basketball.

I could have a stroke watching this BS. We were up like 13 or 14 with four plus minutes left. WE should be in a zone defense to milk clock; no we stay in man and foul the crap out of people. Good free throw shooters (Martin) should be on floor; no. Coleman should be on the floor;no. You are better than this Johnny; I hope.

Really poor coached team. We do don't do any of the small things well. Give Frank Martin our team and we compete for the SEC title.

I like the effort compared to the last 2 games. They must play hard consistently, and they will be fun to watch.

Right it's Johnny Jones' fault our players fouled USCe. Good grief. We've struggled with dribble penetration a lot this season, and that's on the players for the most part. Also, good luck running a 2-3 or 3-2 zone (really any zone defense) with two sub 6' guards. Jones is still learning this team's strengths & weaknesses right now. I'm sure he thought he knew this team pretty well until the Rhode Island loss. Things changed, but we'll be fine.

It was definitely an ugly win, but a win nonetheless, so hopefully something we can build on. What scares me about this team is their apparent lack of ability to close out games. After grinding out a decent lead against South Carolina, we started playing scared and couldn't finish, which allowed South Carolina back into the game instead of finishing them off. I remain happy with the win because a loss would have potentially been disastrous.
