with wife and 2 daughters. Leverage for football watching this weekend. However, I was very impressed with the film! Some stunning visuals and I am a sucker for Disney magic which this film had. The theatre was packed and a lot of people applauded at the end which you don't see very often.

Wish more movies like this were made in general.

That was about it. His one tune was great. But shoot me if I have to sit back in front of that cheesy musical/singing dialog again. But with two young daughters, I'm probably doomed.

Great, I'm taking my 5 year old little girl on Friday for a matinee. It sounds like we will both enjoy it.

Your kid is in for a treat, and expect it to be playing repeatably in the living room for months to come.

My daughter loved it, but the wife and I didn't. We normally like the kids movies but neither of us liked this one. I started a thread about it and was killed. This one just didn't do it for me.

You did claim it was the worst animated films in years, a year that had Planes as a major release.

I don't get how people who say they hate the singing dialogue also claim to love Disney classics... Have they ever seen a Disney movie?
The ones that people consider the best are full of Singing.

This one started Beauty and the Beast

Most Disney movies are musicals.

The visuals hooked me and then the story and characters kicked in... I liked it. I also am a fan of musicals so the singing dialogue is refreshing to me if the songs are not aggravating which I did not find to be the case...Try seeing it again...most movies grow on me after I see them a second time around.
