This is the 26th meeting between playoff teams that met prior in the season in which one team lost by 27 points. The losing team has won the 2nd meeting 13 out out of 25 times.

So our chances are about 50/50 now. What were they before this stat surfaced?

how many of the 13 times was it won on the road?

And what were the conditions for those 13 games?

we can't ignore conditions, not worried about that, that's an equalizer on both sides. But home and road is not taken into any context here.

How many of the 13 painted the other teams logo on their practice field?

Exactly 27 points, (or even 27 points are more ) 26 times seems very unlikely, you have a link to that chewy stat?

I heard it on numbers never lie. Jesus.
My point is, even though we got our asses handed to us last time, and most people say we have no shot, etc, .......not so fast.
Another thread I started showing that even know we got destroyed last time out, recent history says otherwise. LINK

Its definatelly not 27 points, its 27+ points
Or actually. I think the stat is just a team that has gotten BLOWN OUT in the regular season

I think the fact that when games get that out of hand, it generally isn't because one team is so much better than the other. It's simply that one team had all the breaks.
This Seattle team had its struggles too. It struggled at home to beat 2 non-playoff teams in Tampa (3-point OT win) and Tennessee (7 point win).
They were down a ton to Houston and needed OT to beat the worst team in the league this season.
Struggled against an outmatched Rams team (although I know the Saints lost to them).
They are a very good team, but people really are overplaying that win on Monday night.
Hell, the Ravens lost by 17 at HOME to the Broncos last year and then came back and beat them in DENVER to advance to the conference championship.
While the playoff game was at home, the 2008 Cardinals lost @ Philly in the regular season 48-20, and then beat them 32-25 in the playoffs. This is the same Cardinals team that ended the season 2-4 with losses by 8, 28, 21, and 40 points.

Yeah, it reminds me of the FSU/UF championship game in 1996. UF lost at FSU during the regular season in a close game and then UF blew them out in the bowl game. Another ouch is the LSU-BAMA 2011 matchups.
Hopefully Sean doesn't Les it up.
