I had an awful first experience with SCI in high school. I bought the album Round the Wheel and in particular liked the song "100 Year Flood." Well low and behold I had to evacuate 2 days later for Katrina. Very strange omen.

Dang. 100 Year Flood is like my favorite song

They hardly ever play it. My buddy saw 63 cheese shows before he ever got one. His little bro got one on his 5th. Big bro was so pissed

Any predictions for sit-ins at the Jazzfest set?

I went to Jazz Fest in 2002 to see the Counting Crows, but all I HEARD was SCI. We got to the stage early that day and I looked around seeing what I prematurely termed "CrowHeads." It turns out they were just wookies jamming to cheese. I wasn't able to get into the Saenger that weekend but I won't miss it this year (if they play).
My best SCI was 2007 at The Greek in Berkley. First night i got this... Way Back Home > Birdland > Best Feeling > Way Back Home
Encore: Search But the second day...
Set 1: Shine, Little Hands> Dudley's Kitchen, I'll Fly Away1, Walls of Time1, Black Market > Jellyfish > Black Clouds
Set 2: Piece Of Mine, Bumpin' Reel, Farther, Long Way to Go2, Sweet Melinda3, What a Day That Was, It Is What It Is
Encore: Whiskey Before Breakfast4, Will The Circle Be Unbroken4
Encore 2: Smile
Guests:
1 With all of Hot Buttered Rum except Bryan
2 With Todd Sheaffer
3 With Railroad Earth minus Todd Sheaffer
4 With RRE & HBR

The first night was with STS9 and The Disco Biscuits
The second night was with Hot Buttered Rum and Railroad Earth. I lean to the Bluegrass side of the jamband scene. I don't mind the jamtronica late night though.

I'll see yall on locals Thursday!
