Win the toss: Ball or defer

I'm specifically talking about this week, not as a general rule.
Obviously, wind direction and weather forecast will have a huge impact on what SP does there if they win the toss, but let's take that out of the equation just for purposes of this thread.
What do you do?
If you take the ball and score, and then force Seattle to punt on the next drive, you can bring the crowd down right out of the gate. If you go 3 and out, then the crowd will start to be whipped into a frenzy.
I think a crowd is always at its most frenzied at the very beginning of the game. I think I would rather have my D on the field to start out. Crowds are usually lethargic coming out of halftime, so that would be an advantage as well.
Thoughts?

take ball in 2nd half if it's pouring rain in 1st half.

We had the ball first last time, so hell no. Them first

Much easier for the crowd to be loud if we take ball first...DEFINITELY DEFER if given the opportunity

Take the wind at your back for 2nd half for merica

I would give them the ball first. Of course you risk them going down and scoring and being behind right off the bat. Our defense needs to show up.

Defer, defer, defer
Playing to where you can get a score before half and another one after the half begins is so crucial.

This. The strength if their team is the defense and crowd noise when the D is on the field. Dont play to their strength and put their D out there - maybe at the dome it would make sense to put our O out there since they dont have their noise to help them (and hurt us), and then we're playing to our strength - our O.
but in Seattle? hell no - make them go out there and punt to set a different tone.

I always like ball in 2nd half.

defer all the time! unless wind is a factor.

Defer. Even if we do drive down and score, that one score on the opening drive is not going to take that crowd out of the game.

their endzones are due north and south.
SSW winds.
Whatever that all means.

This. You always defer. That scenario can flip a game. Crucial.

I'd defer. If our defense can hold them and we score first, it puts a lot of pressure on them.

I always say defer. But if they get the ball first and march right down the field and score, the game could very well be over very quickly.

defer
followed by an onside kick

Freak differing. Give them the ball and let them pick again in the 2nd Half. We don't need those possessions. This bitch it going to be a route.
