I'm taking it tonight...any pointers other than what is said on the site?

And are you penalized for wrong answers or should you guess when you don't know?

One of my friends has taken it many times and has always passed, but hasn't got past the next round yet.

I was not aware there was a test. Makes sense considering the types of questions they tend to ask.

I personally could give two shits about literature, and thus would never be successful.

I've noticed that in the first round the answers (or questions ) tend to be fairly obvious or easy to figure out. But, it's usually not the so obvious answer in the second round.

Simple, I know.

But, winning Jeopardy is all about buzzing in at the right time. You have to let Trebek finish the answer before you buzz in.

I took it Tuesday night. If you're not sharp on literature or history you're screwed.

About 10 years ago I passed the first test and then passed the in-person one, but still didn't get picked.

This is the four letter capital of Latvia.

This city is the only city that sits at the corner of Asia and Europe.

She is Hamlet's cousin who said, "yada yada yada".

This Canadian province has four fleur dis lis in it's flag.

I really want to...What are the odds of going forward? I am able to answer around 65-80% of the questions on any given night, and I watch everyday

you had to register a while back...the odds are shite and the test to get on is way harder than any given show

No, they are also lenient on spelling. Don't need to phrase it as a question.

You only get 15 seconds for each question so my best advice is to keep your fingers on the keyboard at all times
