Keep doing stories for goodness sakes. Sherlock wasn't his invention anyway. And if it's only 2, just make them 2 series worth of stories, without some contrive ending crap these writers are doing these days.
Foyle's been on for 15 years...still great.

Both have said they intend to go on making sherlock until the get old. They want to see how the characters age together.

If they can do season three while filming The Hobbit, The World's End, Star Trek, Fifth Estate, etc, I assume they are passionate enough to make as many seasons happen as Moffat can come up with.
