Empire State South is a few blocks away ... i lived at the Ga. Terrace for 5 months last year. that's the most impressive you will have within walking distance. Grab a drink in the basement bar of the terrace before or after.

For burgers and beer, check out The Vortex.

I was just at the Georgian Terrace a month or two back. Right across the street is a burger place/pub that has a pretty good beer and liquor selection and was a chill place to have a few drinks. Think it was Public House or something like that. The whiskey bar in the basement gets pretty rocking at night too.

Down Peachtree several blocks was a Taco Mac that had beaucoup beer.

My favorite place was The Porter. Really awesome beer bar. Easy to get to from the Terrace. Hop on the MARTA and it gets you close, then can take a bus to it or walk the mile or so. We walked and it was an easy walk.

I will second Empire State South and The Porter.
I have not tried Kimball House yet...but I hear good things. I just did not feel like waiting when I went. Went to Cakes and Ale instead, which is nearby and quite good.

The consensus best pizza is Antico which is near Georgia Tech.

Eater Atlanta just updated their 38 top restaurants. I use this a lot as a guide for what I want to try out next.

Eater Atlanta is a great place to start. They keep their list very updated.

You won't find a ton of options directly next to the Terrace/Fox (walking distance). The options that are available have been listed.

As with most major cities, you will need to get in a cab

The Porter and Brickstore Pub are two of the best beer bars in the country.

Anticos is damn good pizza and right around the corner.

Empire State South, 4th and swift, Miller Union, The Spence are all very close to the fox.

Never been to the restaurant but I've had their food at a couple festivals and it was alright. Hard to judge the food based on that tho.
