When we were out in the east I received an e-mail from an ex needing $, she's stranded in Manila. It's from her e-mail address, scam or what? I'm a little hesitant, but don't want to leave her hanging.

Tell her to call you to discuss the situation... that should confirm legitimacy of the request.
Whether you give her the money, or not- that's another story.

scam. buddies e-mail got hacked approx 3-4 mo's ago with the same crap. call her to let her know.

It's a scam. I know where she actually is located, and she does need money. I'll give you the proper address to wire the money to. She will be ok if you just wire the money, and a little extra, to me.
