Apparently we can't stretch the field with our pitiful WR averaging a mere 20 yds per catch.

Our passing game is a complete shell.

Brees is a half-shell, the WR corps is a half-shell.

we don't need to go WR in round 1, but we still need some help at WR this offseason. I'm not sure how this stat makes you believe we don't.

Not sure how you draw that opinion. Read my posts on the issue and you'll see otherwise. Just responding to the multiple have to draft one in the 1st Rd threads or the trade the house for Watkins thread today

Center is a given in Round 2 or 3. But we still need a return specialist that could play CB. Who could that be in the first 3 rounds? Punt and kickoff returns (although there aren't many of those these days)are a weakness in special teams. IMO

not if dlP is back at a team friendly deal. I'd like one to be the guy for a long time. It's just no given until free agency plays out.

why do these have to be the same person??

If Greer retires CB does become the odds on position favorite for 1st Rd IMO. Justin Gilbert OKSt lined up across from Lewis could turn this 4th ranked D into one that is talked about as dominant like the chickens, niners, or ravens recently.

Does any one really trust a 2nd or 3rd round rookie to be an upgrade to what we already have? DLP is no Pro-Bowler, but I remember when we drafted "the 2nd best Center in the draft" a few years ago, and now the guy isn't even in the NFL anymore.

Brees has about 4 years left at above-average play. Do we want to waste 1-2 of those years developing a Center? I think if we're looking for an upgrade, we're going to have to look at a vet in FA.

Swanson and Larsen, maybe 3rd Rd, 2nd fo sho, are not developmental. Maybe not dominant, but as good or better than dlP. Bigger is a cheap rookie contract and upside in front of them

I love me some Kenny Stills! LINK

I'm so excited we got this kid...I'm going to make a bold prediction...Kenny Stills is the next Reggie Wayne.

There, I said it.

From the films I looked at, on deep routes Stills was usually a good four or five yards ahead of the defender, but had to stop to wait on the ball.

I think Brees will have a field day blowing the tops off of defenses with this guy.

For a good laugh LINK
