A little bit off topic, but he is widely projected to be a first rounder. I know La'el Collins was a better prospect when we recruited them both so I really hope Collins is a first rounder as well.

If he isn't, it really speaks to our offensive line coaching and player development. For that matter, most of our rivals (Alabama, A&M, and Auburn) are projected to have an offensive tackle drafted in the first round.

He's a RT in the NFL and could fall to the second round. Good player though.

Would now be a bad time to say he is from LA? Played HS here then went to Auburn

I got three things to say: Trooper Taylor, Thibodeaux and Popeyes! Stud never had a chance!

Only in relation to Alabama, and now other teams can also hurt LSU when it comes to recruiting.

I think you are missing the point here.

GR is projected to be a top 5 OT. Collins is not.

He owes a lot to that system and Auburn's offensive line coach. Robinson was borderline terrible last year and now he's a 2nd round pick.

And very few thought Hill was better than Hilliard. And others thought Trovon Reed was going to be a bigger miss.

So we should really just fire them all.

If Bama can use NFL success meter to argue they develop OL talent better than LSU (who has a former OL as HC), then LSU can argue the same for developing DB talent better than Bama (who has a former DB as HC).

It is never that cut and dried, people.

He was getting owned by Flat St DE. He is lucky his QB can scramble, that is what helped him

Collins thought he could be a left tackle on the NFL level. Ain't happening. He will play right guard or tackle next season, and show scouts that he can play on the right side which will help improve his draft stock from where it would be this year.

he won't get out of the top 15. maybe not the top 10. he's the 2nd best LT in the draft.

Well Greg Robinson won't be working at Ruffino's in the near future. That's for sure.
