@MrClutch514 @Respawn 6v6 is max player count. Turned out to be the best balance with ai for us

No, that's Destiny. Titanfall is the game with robots and wall jumping.

Vince is right - we tried a huge amount of playercounts (all the way down to 1v1 and up quite high) and designed the maps, gameplay mechanics, and entire experience around which played best. If anyone wants to chase the numbers game, perhaps we're not the experience they're after? I dunno.
And FYI, for amount of stuff happening at once in a map you'll be hard pressed to find a game that keeps the action higher. I literally have to stop playing every few rounds because my heart just can't take it some times. Remember, you can get out of your Titan and let it roam on AI mode - meaning there can be 12 Pilots wallrunning around, 12 Titans stomping below, and dozens of AI doing their thing.
Oh, and I keep seeing people thinking we've got "bots" when we talk about AI. Thats not how they are. The AI in Titanfall are not replacements for human players. Our playercount is not 6v6 because of AI - AI play their own role in the game and are a different class of character in the game.
Can't wait! Only a couple months until speculative threads like this are gone and people are actually talking about their experiences with the game. Its truly fun stuff, and I hope everyone at least gives it a try.

Can't really judge the game yet. I feel like people are assuming this will be the mutual successor to COD (which I hope it won't) where you are playing 8v8 or higher. Smaller player counts work for games like Halo and depending on what type of game this is it might work as well.

Especially when I feel like majority of FPS multiplayer games I have played outside of BF have had similar numbers.
And when I don't think I have heard a single negative thing about Titanfall besides people upset that there is no single player

I am worried it will be too much like COD. It has some COD developers and although the game looks pretty smooth, the textures are pretty muddy.
The graphics thing may be fixable, it is still early, but I just really hop it doesn't take the route of COD.
ETA: I couldn't care less about no campaign.

I don't think the console lacks power at all, but I am just worried that it will be simlar to COD, the graphics will take a backseat. That's not even the end of the world though, if the game plays well it won't matter, again assuming its not COD with titans.

They are the guys who made the good Call of Duties though. Not the shite they have been pumping out lately.

Not bashing at all, I expressed my excitement in many earlier posts.
COD is a shitty game sorry and has been since COD4. This has COD devs and I have seen some similarities to COD. I expressed my concern. Deal with it.

I also do like how you still find the need to come to the Xbox One's rescue every time you think it is being put down.

Correct. CoD4 was great and MW2 was the most fun I have ever had in a MP Shooter.
Can you imagine how much better MW2 could have been if these guys would have been allowed to hang around and fix it?
Taylor, I am not knighting for the Xbone but rather pointing out your thinly veiled bash attempt as well as reading news on this game because I am excited about it though I will be playing it on PC and not Xbone because...consolol!
