Was there a play from the Saints/Eagles game that would qualify as a "top ten highlight?"

I can't think of one.

I do agree with this. Maybe the game winning field goal.

I agree there weren't any great plays in that game but I still think it's pretty blatant to totally exclude one of only FOUR games from the weekend. Could've at least put in the winning field goal.

.SP has not been mentioned at all for coach of the year honors.

He really shouldn't be. The Saints improved by 4 games and I would give a lot of the credit to Ryan. Yes, Payton hired him and deserves credit, but CSP did a decent amount of derping this year.

Saints are an afterthought and probably should be treated as such for blowing their season up at the end of the year. They almost blew the Eagles game as well, which was more injury related.

I think people must be watching ESPN, NFL Network and Fox Sports at some weird arse times. This "hatred" for the Saints theme is just not true.

If the Saints win in Seattle and they are still "ignored," then I think your theory may be valid.

I wouldnt say hates. If that were the case they would have spent a half hour talking about how this was a fluke outdoor road win and that we'll get put in our place this saturday.

Id say more like ignored than hated.

What will push us in to the spotlight? Beating Seattle at home. We'll become "the" team to beat in the NFC.

Yesterday, there was a ton of discussion on the Saints on the NFL network. Ben Watson did his live report along with reporters at both sites. Studio discussion McGinest (sp), Heath, and Amber Theoharris (she makes me break one of the Top 10!) was thorough.

It was a fair presentation.

One theory I have is the road performances of the Saints are criticized fairly or unfairly due to the completely dominating performances at home. In the national media, did you hear anyone even speculate Tampa would beat the Saints on the last weekend of the year? It was inconceivable.

Everything I've heard since the Philly win has been positive. How the Saints and Brees proved they can win on the road and in the cold.

Justifiably, most have said the real issue is can they now win in Seattle. That's a legit question, imho.
