If I was on Jeopardy! I would buzz in every question and guess the first thing that came to my head. If you're smart enough, it's a good strategy. But I'd have a few moments like this.

It's more about timing the buzz. You have to get it just right. People miss out when they buzz too early. Trebek has to finish the question.

I saw that as well. Im always pissed when they have sports categories in Jeopardy because they never get to them in time.

Yep. In fact, I'd say many if not most episodes it comes down to who can buzz in with the best timing.

the worst part was that he got a baseball question right earlier, so he had to know something.

It wasn't like he guessed "Cal Ripken."
