The Lady Tigers are on a roll after CRUSHING Tulane in New Orleans last night. Check it out..............

LSU Over Too-Lame!

Just as I'd suspected back in November, the team is starting to shape up quite nicely after defeating Tennessee in Knoxville and knocking off the Green Wave.........................

Call me Nostradomus.......

If they beat A&M they could really go on a run leading up to that Kentucky game.

Can't overlook Florida. They won in Lexington yesterday.

OK LSUALU where do we finish in SEC regular season? But do you give you full credit, this team is now in top 5 rpi and has real chance to win sec. Agree with other poster, UF looked good yeaterday (I saw about half thier game), a win at UK is a tough one past few years. A few VERY bad teams in SEC, but our SEC sch is tough one and very few gimmes. Was GREAT to restore order in Tulane series after losing 3 in a row, 29-6 series record....

I would really rather watch a decent HS boys basketball game than anything I've ever witnessed in women's basketball. It's a damned eyesore. Even Pat Summitt, when once asked, said the teams playing in the boys state title game would beat her Women's national championship team.

Women's basketball blows.

to each his own, then feel free not to post, I respect your pov, but to say "blows" only points out what a moron you are...I suppose anything YOU like is better than everyone else...so no LSU football because any pro team is better, so LSU football blows..right? nevermind, just move on pal, we dont need you here...

great point, a good hs team would beat a women's team, and the worst nfl team would beat LSU football by about 100 points .wow you are a sharp one...

What there are other sports besides football and baseball!!! And girls play this sport? Seriously just appreciate LSU sports. This team is good and I wanna say they will end up with a 2 seed in the Tourney. But the match up with UK will be huge.

No. It's just not very good basketball. It's quite ugly most of the time. There just aren't many women who are any fricking good at basketball at all. Even women's pro basketball is an eyesore.

And, it's not a female thing. I greatly enjoy watching women's soccer. It's still good soccer. Sure, they'd get hammered by men, but hell, in women's basketball, half the bitches dribble like the ball has stickem and teflon on it at the same time.

I'm sorry. When did they create a no negative opinion rule on this board? Or, more the point, a no opinions that saintsfan22 doesn't approve of rule?

Then why are you posting in a thread about something you couldn't give a crap about?

I'm pretty sure there is a rule to not derail threads with your comments whether they are negative or not.

I don't care if that's your opinion. I hate soccer but I don't go on the soccer board and post in threads about it sucking. That would be dumb.

Even more ironic is by posting in the thread about a sport he cares nothing about, he keeps bumping it.

So we should just ignore the trolling and get to your question. I think really what we have here is parity developing with the top 7-8 teams or so, which we were starting to see around 2011. I don't feel that TN is the powerhouse of days of old mainly because Holly Warlick is not the level of motivator that Summit was and Mitchell at UK never really seems to recruit shooters just athletes. Even though Vandy lost to SC the other day, I think they are underrated and UGA is overrated, which only adds to the parity situation. And lets not forget Arkansas. They're a good team even with the weak out of conference schedule. Definitely don't underestimate them. I think when it's all said and done, it will be an all out brawl between 5-6 teams in the SEC, much like it is in football. We will see what Coach Caldwell is really made of if she can finish with LSU in that top 5.

And for the record, I think South Carolina could win the SEC.

IMO she's getting a bad rap. At the end of the Summit era they weren't the same Tennessee from the 90's but it's getting put on Warlick.

whatchamacallit...WOW, welcome! Great to have you on board, and great posts, you needless to say, know the game well.

As far as parity, I agree, IMHO CT is pretty much the UCLA men's team of the 70's (funny how SOME men's bball fans forget how only a very few teams where any good in 60-70's,) women's game has a ways to go for parity, but fact that it is no longer just a few is good. Programs like LSU, Baylor, UK, Lville, Duke, HAD little wbb tradition until past 10-12 years Parity is improving as in past 5 years, LSU, TN, UK, Auburn, Vandy, Ark, FL, A&M have all made deep trny runs. Miss schools are always down and Bama has fallen hard, but SEC, ACC, Big East all have 4-8 final 8 type teams in them.

I do agree with this to some level Saints. I think we saw a decline that may have somewhat correlated with Pat's ensuing condition. I think Holly is a solid coach and I hope she does well at Tenn; mainly because I don't want them to come calling for Coach Caldwell.
