his production throughout the week was up there with the best of them....All in all it was a very productive week for one of the top receivers in the country.
no link but you can find the full analysis on Rivals.com if you have an account.

All I took from that was 'he's good but we aren't giving him a 5th star'

Did he do enough to earn the respect he needs.

he had 8 yards receiving in the game.
he's not getting a 5th star.
he could move up a bit in the rankings though

Shouldn't a week of practice over weigh the game performance? I'd think you learn more there

He was thrown to twice, caught one and the other one was a bad throw. yeah, that's what they should judge his ranking on

not enough for an LSU commit to get 5th star, I dont think. We'll see.

yes, they have him ranked #3 on the Top Performers list. Behind (1) Kyle Allen and (2) Malik Mcdowell.
They do take into account that he was thrown to once. they base his rankings on the entire week of work

I agree. He was thrown to twice. One he caught for 8 yards. The other was a throw the QB made while running for his life, and it was off the mark. Quinn would have made the catch while on the ground if the DB hadn't gotten a hand on it. It's not Quinn's fault he wasn't thrown to more or didn't play more.

I think the overwhelming consensus was that he was the top WR there based on the body of work for the week. Was it disappointing to not get much of a chance during the game? Sure. But what should we expect when one WR is the QB's high school teammate, and the other is going with him to TAMU. Who do you want to diss, a guy going to your rival school or your teammates? No big deal. It was a huge honor to be there and he showed what he can do against All-American defensive backs in man to man press coverage.
As far as baseball goes, I think his focus is on football, and while he has not played in awhile, there is still some MLB interest, but if he gets drafted anyway, I do not think it will be high enough to be concerned with.

Didnt realize this
I think he'll get a bump and have said for months the sites aren't gonna give him his due until he does it at the AA games. Just not sure about a 5th star.

He may not get it but he's done everything on the field to deserve it

LsuTool,
I was not there, just going by Rivals, 247, NOLA, tweets, etc.

cool, I didnt keep up with the Army game at all so I'm not real up to date with how everyone did. I didnt realize Quinn had done THAT well in the practices.
maybe the practices combined with breaking the records will be enough to get a 5th star. we should know soon.

He's done more than enough to earn our respect. To hell with those rankings. Kid is as good as any WR in the country and he'll prove it at LSU.

Dude's a freaking stud and we are pleased and delighted to have him.

In those all star games, it's more of what you do throughout the week during practice, not the game.

The QB pretty much ignored him all game. He is getting praise from practice which is apparently what they watch the most.
