Film crew shows him shoveling his drive. What a regular guy. No need for hired hands to shovel that stuff in the street. One problem.

It's illegal

Should show some integrity and pay whatever the penalty is voluntarily. Can't set a bad example

I got a brother that just moved from Dallas to Pullman, Wash. He found out the other day that if you have a sidewalk running across the yard it is up to you to clean the snow off, city ordinance.

Luckily for him the neighborhood where he lives doesn't have sidewalks.

In my town, you have 24 hours to clear your sidewalk. Safety issues. people do a good job.

Same here. 24 hours to clear the sidewalk and no throwing it into the streets.

I've never known anyone to get fined for it, though...it's really just common courtesy for people who want to walk their dog/jog and for mailmen to walk easier.

Same for yard clippings right? Anyone know the law in Louisiana?

When I lived in San Diego, I had company parked in my driveway and I parked behind them which left the rear of my car blocking the pathway of the sidewalk. I got a ticket for parking on my own property.

Another time I got a ticket for not "crimping my wheel" while parked in my drive way. If you don't turn your wheel when you park, you're violating the law. Apparently they're worried the car will roll down the driveway into the street.

I live in the woods. I can not only throw my yard clippings in the street. I can burn them.

Too funny... I just got off a conference call using the "throw grass clippings in the street/on my driveway" reference for one of my developers.

This dude the other day raked up all his leaves to the corner of his property which faces the main street and took out his blowers and blew them all in the street A'hole.

Here in Houston, we are forced (if you live within the City of Houston) to use these crappy small mm plastic bags that you buy......and of course the city has an agenda with these bags.

Yeah, then the next big gullywasher comes along and he is complaining about his street flooding. It's because the drains are clogged, dammit !

Don't you think he should be ticketed and fined? He broke the law. There is ironclad evidence, plus eyewitnesses.
