The offense was one year to early.

Hill, Landry, Odell, and Mett have been a great offense for us the last year. Sucks Mett lost some time at a cc and they all wouldn't be back this year. Looks like the defense is playing together and the line will only get better and more athletic next year.
We played a lot if young talented guys this year and if we can sure up the MLB spot with a run stopping stup then a good cover safety that can stop the run then boom. We will be light out on d next years. A good OL coming back and mix in a TE and if we can stay healthy we can play with anyone next year. You know that which ever QB comes back and wins the starting job will be the best coaches up hound qb in the country. Cam we trust

Two years too late! I can't believe that LSU had to deal with JJ & JL when we had an NFL QB (Mett) on the sideline all year. Dumb move on the coaching staff part especially considering that we did not need exceptional QB play with the defense we had in 2011.

Just about every program can say the offense or defense was a year late or early. But for LSU it would've meant a NC in 2012.
