This "The struggle is real" thing needs to die a slow and painful death.

I think this might be the worst thing that upper-middle class white kids have gotten ahold of since "YOLO". The worst thing is the facebook and instagram posts that go something along the line of "Eating ramen noodles tonight omggg! #thestruggleisreal" always accompanied by a filtered photo, and almost always followed by "sent from my iPhone 5s". I think this has surpassed "YOLO" and "ratchet" (used as an adjective and not referring to a tool) as the most annoying thing kids do or say today. What say the OT? Is my struggle real?

I sometimes tell my African American coworkers that "I know the struggle." Always gets laughs.

I have a ratchet ratchet.

Doesn't work as an adjective. You must be a hoodlum.

OP, why do you follow kids on instagram? Do you like viewing pictures of young kids?

If you're a traditional aged college student (18-let's just say 24), you're a kid.
