In a league where Geno Smith, Brandon Weeden, Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder get starts you want a team to get rid of a guy who had the 7th most passing yards and 3rd most passing TDs?

If Lovie Smith can get canned, why can't Lewis?

Why reward mediocrity?

Neither. Considering how cheap the management is, they are over achieving.

Making the playoffs every year isn't mediocre. Underachieving but not mediocre.
