There are tons of reasons to own one. I have been waiting on the price on the higher end ones to drop some more.

If someone were into crafts they could buy a printer and make their money back off of it just selling shite on eBay or Pinterest or whatever. I have tried to tell this to my mother who is very good at craft stuff.

I understand the industrial potential, but as they are now, I'm not seeing the home market yet. I have no desire to home assemble my products.

I know a guy who prints phone cases and sells custom ones online. Sell for about $10-20 each and he is killing it as a side job. Put chevron on anything and bitches will buy it he says.

Give it a few years & let the price go down and every school & many moms will own one. This would put my die cut machine to shame & save me a lot of cutting & assembly time.

That said, it's way too expensive to help me make classroom projects & decorate bulletin boards.
