Are you guys watching the Vanderbilt wide receiver absolutely torch Houston's defense? He's got two 50 yard TD catches and a blanketed one handed catch on the sideline. He's a stud.

I think he'll be there for us to take, too. Evans, Watkins, Lee, and maybe Benjamin will go ahead of him. One or maybe both of the LSU WRs will be there in the 2nd. It's a really deep year for WRs/CBs and pretty solid for OTs/Centers, our positions of need.

We're gonna need like 30 number 1 picks

He reminds me of a faster, leaner Colston. He's just a really smooth player.

I've had my eye on him for a while.

I really want to take a WR in the first. If CSP is happy with Armstead, I think we should pull the trigger. We need a true WR1 who is big, fast and physical.

There are a lot of really, REALLY good WRs in the draft this year. Sammy Watkins, Marquise Lee, Mike Evans, and Matthews are all projected to go in the first. There are a lot of very good Tier 2 WR talents like the LSU guys that will be there in the 2nd-4th, too.

I am really hoping that because of the deepness, Matthews could be there when we pick. If he is, I really, really hope we take him.

I wouldnt have a problem taking a wr in the first. It's def a huge need. The problem is that our D has taken a nose dive since jabari went down. We gotta be thinking cb somehow

I'd say something like: (If Armstead is liked)

CB>WR>O-line/C>LB

I go back and forth on wanting a WR or an OL with our top pick. I think its time we develop a guy whos our #1 at WR. Colston is getting older and I don't think age will be kind to him.

Its a deep year for wide receiver talent so this might be the year to grab one. We've got our speed guy in Stills (and Morgan coming back) but I wouldn't hate to see Sammy Watkins in our offense.

One guy I've had my eyes on is Rutgers Brandon Coleman. 6'5 220. He's not a burner, runs about a 4.5 but he reminds me of Colston. Has good hands but battled through some injuries this year so his stock is down. Probably a 3rd rounder.

I posted about Coleman in another thread. If we don't go WR in the 1st or 2nd, I'd love Coleman in the 3rd.
