FBD will be a good three fingers of Macallan 18. Too cold for beer. Sorry, I'm freezing.

FBD will be in a little bit after some errands and definitely will be a stout.

Kim, I had that Abrasive last night. Awesome. Thanks! The name doesn't fit the beer, though...

The worst is yet to come. Monday night low predicted at 17 degrees for Shreveport. But look on the bright side. If your freezer is full you can just set food out on your back porch.

Beer drinking can also be done indoors in climate controlled conditions.

FBD is Crosscut Blueberry Cream Ale. I think it's getting better with a little age. Wish it's wasn't quite so carbed.

I agree it can be in climate controlled conditions. I'm kind of a creature of habit. Crawfish in spring, crabs in summer, oysters in winter, beer when hot, scotch when cold, wine and shrimp year round.

Of course I can live a little loose with those. Like if I'm out of scotch and I'm shaking like a dog shitting a pitch seed, I'll certainly have a beer. And since today it is warming up and my nephew gave me some Raging Bitch IPA from Maryland I'll participate in the thread.

And I need a few suggestions anyway and haven't been in the FBD in awhile. Plus y'all know I'm a craft beer rookie.

That it does. I can think of a lot of other beers that fit the name "Abrasive". This one is anything but, and it's delicious. Was fortunate to have 4 outstanding IPA's yesterday, and Abrasive is tough to beat.

Raging Bitch is fantastic

What kind of suggestions are you looking for? Styles of beer? Local stuff?
