Did you do the son and mother dance at your wedding?

I am about to get married (no pics). I dont want to do the son and mother dance at the reception. Has anyone else not done it at their wedding? I dont want my mom pissed but i'm just not the one that wants to slow dance with my mom

don't remember, but what does it matter? if you dont want to, dont. But you better discuss this with your future wife. If she dances with her dad, you're pretty much obligated to take mom for a twirl.

I didnt. My mom was just happy that I decided to stop staying out until 4am, found a nice girl and what not. She didnt give one shite about our wedding plans.
