Rank how big today is for LSU football

Not trying to get into recruiting, but this is a huge, huge day.
Where do you think it compares?

I'd favor actual games over unproven potential, but today could epic--it could also be disastrous.

No high school recruit is important enough to rank early signings as a milestone day for the program.

It was a big win in a mediocre bowl, so wouldn't rate it that high. Definityly not meaningless like some on here say. And as far as recruiting goes: it's important to get good players.

I generally agree, and I'm by no means a recruiting guru; I barely follow it outside NSD. That's basically what I'm asking.
However, we're talking Five 5 Star Players, and ones we need to "lock" up the state.

No state is locked up. Every state gets players poached from it.

Sure, but I think it's still very critical. If LSU gets 5/5 it could impact the next month and give us that long sought after swagger.

Let's see which of the potential recruits actually sign....that will tell you if it was a "Big Day" or not.

Yeah, and to a division rival. It's still a "big" day if we lose a bunch of 5*s to division rivals. It's just not a good day.

I think it ranks near the top. If we miss on these guys, they go to our conference opponents. I think we all know how important it is that we land most of our targets.
