If there was ever a year we could afford to lose Speedy, it is 2014

Look, I believe Speedy will be a college star, and I would LOVE to have him in this class, but I just don't think he will make or break the class. We signed a few studs last year at WR, and assuming we get Chi, Quinn, Upchurch, and Chark, I believe we will be just fine at that position.

Again, I hate to lose Speedy, especially to a divisional foe, but I am of the opinion that WR is our least pressing need at the moment. If we get Fournette, Willis, Adams, and Brown, followed by Chi down the road, the 2014 class will have gone a long, long way towards filling our needs in the future.

ETA: Speedy is not replaceable, and the latest developments seem to show that he may still be an LSU commit. We sure would love to have him.

I'll play along.

LSU is loaded in 2015 with wideouts, we are favored for or have some good ones committed now, andnwe have some good ones on the roster right now.

But speedy is a gamebreaking talent we all would love to see light it up in BR, not a replaceable guy by any means impact wise.

Agree. No one can replace him directly, but we are certainly positioned to be in great shape at WR with or without him.

Slackster I agree with you cause Tyron Johnson is going to be amazing. And he is over 6'2" with speed, elusiveness and hands.

You never want to lose the #1 WR in the country, especially one who happens to be from LA, but I tend to agree with your overall sentiment. Still have a strong want though.
