Still don't get how this game was stunning or embarrassing. Ole Miss this year was stunning and embarrassing. You are the worst poster on this site though, so I'm not shocked you would spew this garbage.

Other than Alabama, what program in the country would you prefer to be than LSU?

I would NOT prefer to be Bama. Purple and Gold is where it is at. Their is simply no place on the college football map like Tiger Stadium and we share the state with no other in state schools. LSU is the place to be and the last 4 years for Bama are an anomaly. We will see how good Bama is with no AJM. Bama has not been better than us anywhere but QB in the 2011 and 2012 NC runs.

Here's how. I was at the game. When we got the ball for the final possession the Clemson fans around me stood up shook our hand said good game and left. EVERYBODY thought it was over. They came running back after the last series, falling all over themselves about our clock management choices and in disbelief that they got the ball back. The dome emptied and then filled back up. Say what you want to say about the play choices (good or bad) but the way this game ended was definitely STUNNING and very arguably embarrassing.

the difference for lsu is we have a winning coach
who has stayed at lsu.

history will show lsu has not had elite coaches
stay at lsu. the best coaches in lsu football
all left at a point when they could have stayed
at lsu. the exception is les miles.

going back to the 1930's lsu had biff jones.
he had lsu near the top of the polls when he was
run off by huey long. he went on to put nebraska
on the football map

1960's paul dietzel's leaving at his prime
put lsu behind bama and a long run for the bear

1980's arnsparger if lsu administration had worked with him may have set lsu for good run
instead he went to florida.

2000's saban leaves. again lsu can not keep
a great coach.

then miles comes after saban. he has had two chances to go back to michigan. he is the
only elite coach to stay at lsu.

look at the coaches in sec history with most
wins. lsu coaches not very well represented.

for the first time we have had stability with
a coach really committed to lsu long term and
is winning at an all-time level at lsu

42 Tigers in the NFL in 2013, 2 pre-Saban, 10 Saban, 30 Miles. I like our coach.

According to recruiting rankings vs program success, Miles gets more out of his players than most coaches.

Ranking of Average Composite Recruiting Rankings (2007-2011):

1. USC (Avg Ranking: 3.2)
2. Bama (4.6)
3. Texas (4.8)
4. Florida (5.6)
5. LSU (6)
6. Notre Dame (9.6)
7t. Ohio State (10)
7t. Georgia (10)
7t. Florida State (10)
10. Oklahoma

Corresponding On Field Records (2009-2013):

USC 44-21 (68%)
Bama 60-7 (90%)
Texas 43-22 (66%)
Florida 43-22 (66%)
LSU 53-13 (80%)

The silly thing about people who complain about the season is almost everyone on here predicted LSU would lose two or three games this year and that would be great given what we lost to the NFL. When did that change? I predicted losses to Georgia and Ole Miss, but I also thought Ole Miss would do a lot better than they did. I guess Georgia too.

C+

Lets see 120 coaches. C+ equals 50 th best coach in America give or take a couple?

Yeah Keep telling your self this.Piece of cake.
Im sure Muschamp and Urban Meyer would agree with you. Its so easy running an SEC football program.
U ought TO sign up, surely when there are 49 people better than HIM and will do it for less money, the job is about to become vacant.
