Teflon coated barrels

Thinking about getting my A Bolt done over the summer. Has anyone done it? Is $125 too much to pay to get one done? Is this something I can do myself? Would a tan barrel on my black synthetic stock be too badass? TIA

Not real sure about Teflon coating but I've had good results put of cerakoting. The only thing I'd be worried about as far as a tan barrel goes is if the color is too light it may grab the attention of something your shooting at. If your hunting out of dark box stands I say keep it black

That's a good point about the tan sticking out. How much did you pay to cerakote? Did you just get the barrel done or the whole rig?
