I want to talk trash to Iowa people but they're all too nice

Seriously. Every single one of them I've encountered here in Tampa has been so nice. It is almost bizarre how nice they are.

Agree, nice folks who love their Hawkeyes. But there is a glorious meltdown happening on the Iowa message boards right now. Believe me, inside of every nice Iowan is a simmering little ball of hate. Even rivals some of the Tigerdroppings melts.

They're only nice because their expectations are so low.
They're losing their minds over a relative non-event (Freak) and not at how shitty their team is. They don't understand how badly they were spared with Mett being out. It's just not a fanbase that understands the whole football thing very well and they're just happy to be there.
The MAC should make a big push for them.

Maybe the message board fans are a little different than the ones that made the trip but it is honestly tough to talk shite to them because they're too nice. Most of them see my LSU shirt and tell me "good game" before I can even say anything else.
