Any places in particular I need to check out?

I'm at Serio's as I type this eating the Muffeleta. The olives are a bit overwhelming but it's not bad.

TIA

Hey bbeck, Alabama fans like to go eat at Crystal Burger on Bourbon Street. Especially after Alabama plays at the Dome.

Prepare for deez nutz to go viral. But for real, any decent eating joints in this city? I've heard about Acme oyster house and the cafe dumond(?).

There are tons of excellent restaurants but none of the ones you mentioned. Head to the food board and search for New Orleans and you will have tons of options. There are literally 50
places in that area to eat a good
meal

There's a Mike Anderson's in Gonzales. Only about a 45 min drive. Worth it IMO.
