Saw that Jerit Roser tweeted out that Neil Weiner was going to be the next head coach at Dunham. LINK

Tried to get this out earlier, but never got him on the phone... But #Zachary's Neil Weiner will be next @DunhamAthletics coach #nolaprep

There hasn't been any official statements or other press, hence the question mark in the OP. This would be quite a hire if true.

Edit: It's confirmed by Coach Weiner and a few local news people.

Well, it's not like he won't get paid well at Dunham and they built a brand new athletic complex during Mistretta's time.

they have some deep pockets - nothing like his dad at CHS gets - I thought that would be the place he would go - I thought Dale was going to hang it up - maybe not.

He is a CHS grad. I would think he views that as the pinnacle of high school football in Baton Rouge(since he played there and was indoctrinated) However, i have heard college coaching may come calling for him

Any of you guys know if there is a story about why they call it The Dunham School? Or just trying to be original?

We've had some great games against the in soccer and the name always stood out to me.

One of the advocate writers has along tweeted it out. I guess it's official now as she says he has confirmed it. Dunham has been able hire coaches well above what I expected.

Changed the name to The Dunham School because the school was in financial debt and the Dunham Family bailed the school out. Thus, the school was named after Dunham
