Dual Sport recruit question (Sabans stance vs Miles stance)

In regards to Tony Brown wanting to be a part of both the football and track teams at whatever university he chooses.....
Hasn't Miles been more accomodating to recruits who want to play both sports whereas Saban has not?
I thought in the past Saban had been known to tell recruits that they could play both but once they've signed on the dotted line suddenly they feel the pressure to drop their track career.
I feel like I remember players in the past, such as Tony Brown, trying the track and football route at both LSU and Alabama during Saban's tenure and they ended up being "encouraged" to only focus on football.
On the other hand Miles has supported the likes of Trindon Holiday in track and Chad Jones in baseball.
Am I way off or am I remembering correctly?
If so, I would think that Saban is going to try to pull the same crap with TB if he decides to spurn LSU.

I don't know how Saban has handled this at Bama, but Miles is far more accommodating to dual sport athletes at LSU than Saban was.
Ricky Jean Francois, Trindon Holliday, Chad Jones, Jared Mitchell, Spencer Ware, among others, all did two sports while at LSU under Miles.

true
I'm looking for specific examples of guy who were known to have dual sport aspirations that suddenly dropped their love of the secondary sport once Saban got them onto campus.

I have never gotten a straight answer as to why Bradley Sylve doesnt run track. And he doesnt contribute much in football

I think Bradley Sylve was a track guy for bama who never made it to the track team

Michael Clayton and Marcus Spears, two highly sought after basketball players. Played maybe a month of basketball at LSU.

Xavier Carter, Bennir Brazell. Don't think they had any issues with Saban if I recall.
Unless Tony Brown is reading this, then Saban is an a-hole who discourages multiple sport athletes.

Devery Henderson also ran track while at LSU.

LSU has produced 3 multi sport national champions since les has been here
Chad jones and Mitchell in football and baseball
And Trindon was NCAA 100 m champion while playing football

I am almost 100% sure that this is not correct.

Given the two track programs, I don't think Tony would tell Miles, hey I really want to be a part of a national championship track squad, if not, I'm going to Alabama, and Les would say no.

I think Devery wanted to and was promised he could, but never did.

I don't think it was much of an issue in his recruitment.
I know he ran track at OHS, and they had some damn good relays when he was there and Mahfouz was the coach, but I don't think it was something that was that big a deal to him.

Given the two track programs, either he wants to run for a top level track program, or he wants to go to Alabama. That's it. If track is as big a deal to him as it has been made to be, Alabama is just a hat on the table.

Another reason Jameis Winston went to FSU instead of Bama, he wanted to play baseball also.

That, and Dametune Craig told him that black QBs can't succeed at Bama.

And the fact that A&M has won 4 of the last 5 National Championships, you would think if that really mattered, we would still be in the discussion. Tony Brown won't go to Alabama because of Track and Field.
