Never been before. Only hunted twice in my life.

Gotta start somewhere and I'm apparently banned from the ducks. :)

What do y'all suggest is a good place to try as a beginner?

Face paint. Long beard. $5000.00 .22Mag with Swarovski, bull barrel and bipod. Sighted in dead on at 650yds. $1000.00 worth of matching camo gear. That should get you started.

Wait till deer season is over at the end of Jan. You don't want to piss off any deer hunters.
20 gauge pump will do.

My favorite way to squirrel hunt is going with my Pawpaw on Amite River. We go in the boat and just float which ever way current takes us. When you see a squirrel on bank you run trolling motor close enough and *pew pew pew*. Dinner.

Damn... used to ride motorcycles all up in there. Good times.

Oh, and I'm going with a 22. Hard core here.
