What type of information if any is made available to these guys concerning their potential draft status?

I would assume that the players meet with their agents who then contact the appropriate scouts and analyst. That's what I would think.

The sent in for their draft grade and has been given them but no idea what they were. Rumor has it Collins was suppose to receive a first round ground from the writers of nfl.com

It will not matter what the draft status is if an under class man has contact with an agent. He will be done in college.

Wrong, if they hire agents they are no longer eligible. The nfl provides a service giving the players a consensus of draft prospectus based on numerous scouts and teams opinions. It's not nearly as meaningful now that rounds 3-7 basically pay the same. They all prob gone.....

1st round grade typically means 2nd or 3rd selection.

If he has a legit chance of being a 2nd round pick he'll need to think about it. I'm all for kids at least staying 4 and graduating then if they want to forgo their RS Sr year they've got their degree.

I understand why the would leave though.

If Collins receives a mid round grade then he'll be back. Same with Ego.

Freak and Jarvis are gone, as well as Hill.

Obj should be interesting but I'll put him in the gone category.

I understand why LSU players leave early but do other teams have as many early losses? It seems Bama was chock full with seniors.
