A little beer reflection and evaluation. If anyone wants to play along, Top 10 new beers you tried this year and beer related resolutions for the new year.

Top 10 (INPO, just selecting 10 was hard enough):
-50/50 Eclipse EC 12 Year
-Lawson's Finest Liquids Double Sunshine
-09' GI GCBS
-Toppling Goliath PseudoSue
-Hill Farmstead Abner
-Cantillon Soleil De Minuit
-3F Oude Gueuze Golden Blend
-Jester King Atrial Rubicite
-Hill Farmstead Everett
-Cigar City Apple Brandy Barrel Aged Hunahpu's

The next 10 could easily compete with these. Definitely honorable mentions GI Bramble Rye, Lindley Park, and Kern River Citra.

Resolutions:
-Get going with homebrewing more. Have a 1 gallon kit, but have only used it a couple times.
-Try more stuff from Hill Farmstead and Toppling Goliath.
-Drink down my stash/cellar a little.
-Upset my wife LESS when it comes to beer-related antics.

Cheers to all the fellow FBDers I met this year for the first time. Lots of quality people!

2013 saw visits to a few new breweries for me and meeting the owners of Lone Pint and Big Thicket. Made several new homebrews, for better or worse.

Resolutions:
Buy a fridge and set up keg system
Keep kegs flowing
Make the switch to brew in a bag
Brew according to what yeast I can use at the temps in my beer closet

That mosaic IPA that TCO brought to the jamboree was fantastic.

I was reading about that recently. Interesting method.

Interesting post...

My Top 10 this year, the order isn't important as it's really splitting hairs..

1. Brandy Hunahpu
2. TG Morning Delight
3. CCB Zhukov's Final Push
4. Cycle Nooner Batch 3
5. Cycle RareDOS
6. CCB 110k+OT Batch 6
7. CCB/Mikkeller Life is Like
8. BCBS Proprietors Reserve
9. BCBS Bramble Rye
10. Upland Blackberry Lambic

Resolutions..

Time to drink the cellar down. Gotta quit chasing beers. With all the new releases it's a never ending endeavor. Gonna ease back on the stouts. Pretty much to a point where they all taste the same.

I really can't make a top 10 list. Many on yalls lists would be in mine since most were at bottle shares. 2013 was a massive beer year for me. I really learned a lot and tried a lot.

My resolution is to definitely drink down my stash. Try to to buy so much. And enjoy life one beer at a time

I've got to get my hands at least one of TG's highly regarded stouts next year. Hope they brew more such that I don't have give away my cellar to do it.

Gotta start somewhere. It's amazing how much good beer you can come across over the course of a full year.

This one is at the top of my list.

Also need to drink down my cellar(s).

Gonna stop buying so much beer. It's stupid how much money I spend on beer. I keep chasing rare stuff and like someone else said, it's a never ending endeavor.

Want to brew more and drink that instead of buying so much beer.
