Ok call me paranoid, but didn't a former uga rb (name?) break his leg so bad at probowl beach game he almost lost his leg and ended his career? And while bowling ain't exactly an injury prone sport, can't people who aren't used to it hurt their back etc? Why would outback bowl make players do this? Sea world great, eating meat, fine, but beach, sand stuff...just stupid IMHO.

I might hurt my back bowling, but the beach should be good. When we going?

Should these guys stay in their hotel rooms all day until the game? So many disastrous things could happen to them should they leave. They might even get food poisoning from eating meat

As long as they don't start hucking bowling balls at each other's "haids" they're prolly going to be safe...

I think bowling would be fine, but beach volleyball i wouldnt want some guy splaying incase they twist something.

I was listening to mascona yesterday I believe and he spoke about this. Some coaches would keep the players cooped up in the hotel rooms the whole time, others let them enjoy their time there. So it just depends on the coach i guess. up to Miles to make sure they just realize they still have a game to play.

Mock all you want, NFL banned flag football game on beach after this....not saying they should not have fun, sea world etc, but just not for this. One more note, detrina white, one of best players ever at lsu missed most of a season after hurting her back "trying to throw a shot put" for fun, if your body is conditioned for one sport you don't mess with stuff like this.
NOT saying it is likely just think it is stupid to do the beach games thing, unless they are playing beach blanket bingo...google it, great movie. Lol

He rushed for 1,115 yards for the Patriots in the 1998 National Football League season, before blowing out his knee at an NFL rookie flag football game in Hawaii during Pro Bowl week. Edwards barely escaped the injury without having his leg amputated below the knee, and he was told he might not walk again.[1]
