Honestly, that this game shouldn't be close? Not trying to disrespect Iowa or anything like that, just from the outside looking in we should win by 17+ right?

They have no superstars or guys to take a game over like Boyd did last year vs us. They talk about playing consistent hard nosed football but they have no athletes that can match up with the best WR duo in the nation and our running backs should have a field day with their overrated LB's.

What am I missing here? Before people jump on my arse, I am talking about if we play our best and they play their best, it won't be close.

We should..but our team identity is offense, and the guy running it is no longer playing under center.

If both teams play their best, toward the end of the game we'll pull away for that 17 pt victory. Their style of play will limit our touches early. Our athletes will need to make plays and show they're special. It would be nice to block a kick or return one.

AJ gonna have to show out and our defense will have to stop the run.

LA any other year I would say we beat their arse but our Dline and Lbers play just isn't there this year. I think our offense dominates them but can our d get off the field?

In Lester fashion we win 24-20.

I can see LSU taking the lead and maintaining the lead in this game. I am not anticipating LSU extending the lead into blow-out proportions. And of course I hope I'm dead wrong about this.

you can book it that that is exactly their game plan. if our front 7 is soft they will control the clock. we can score pretty quickly though so as long as we tighten up in the red zone we'll be ok and win.

If you haven't watched LSU football under miles over 90% of games are close at halftime no matter the opponent. It will be close hell we were kicking the shite out of Clemson last year only to watch the gradual decline at the end. I am hoping Jennings gives us the running dimension at qb and maybe we score more.

We lost to Ole Miss.
LSU isn't a good road team.

I guess if our two year Sr QB was playing rather than our never started a game before true Freshman QB you would think we should win by 30---right.

Why in the world would you think we win by 17+ points? Our average margin of victory against all 12 opponents in regular season was 12+ pts. and that includes Furman, Kent St., and UAB. It's this kind of thinking that will get us in trouble. I hope LSU brings their "A" game and finds a way to win. Could care less about the margin of victory.

The only way we win easily is if Iowa makes several bad errors on offense.

I think we win this game in the 4th by 7 points, 27-20.
